The service on the 25th January was the first to use the new improved audio and visual equipment installed in the Bennochy sanctuary during the month.
On the last day of January, a meeting of the Congregation and Kirk Session was held to set the aims and objectives of church for the next 3 years of the Transition Ministry at the St. Bryce Centre. Bacon rolls, tea and coffee was served on the cold January morning.
The Bennochy Community Choir participated in the Fife Festival of Music in eary February.

After congregational consultation meetings on the 15th and 22nd January and the feedback from the Congregational Conference, the Kirk Session voted to continue to worship on Sundays at 11am in Bennochy building and to continue to hold additional worship in St Bryce Centre for seasonal and special services. The Kirk Session also voted to identify and develop a range of worship and prayer events that make use of both buildings.
At the end of February a Daffodil Coffee Morning was held in the Methven Hall at Bennochy. Tea, coffee and lovely home baking was available in large quantities. A sum of over £300 was raised for Church Funds and to cover the postage for sending a package of knitted baby clothes and blankets to the Bollobhpur hospital in Bangladesh.


For Lent on Thursdays in March the St. Bryce Sanctuary offered prayer stations available for individual use or visitors could just sit in the beautiful surroundings. There was also a short video presentation about ancient wisdom from the Desert Mothers and Fathers prepared by Lectio 365 followed by a short time of worship.
The Fife Youth Jazz Orchestra (FYJO) performed a concert in the Bennochy Sanctuary on Sunday 29th March. Enjoy this performance by these young jazz musicians by watching the video below:
After storm David, we were grateful to be able to meet at 8am for the Easter morning service at Seafield Beach. It was a beautiful morning and a joy-filled service. The service was shared between the Salvation Army and Langtoun Central Churches. As you can see in the pictures below the sun came out for us! During our Easter services a total of £569 was raised for Water Aid.


We received a Thank You Letter from CHAS for our donation of Easter Eggs from the Easter Sunday Service (you can watch all our services on our YouTube Channel).
The Women’s Group Annual Bunny Drive took place on 14th April. A Silent Auction was held within the Group and raised the sum of £114.80. In the evening everyone had a very enjoyable time at the Bunny Drive and raised the sum of £522.
