Hall Hire & Facilities
Langtoun Central Church comprises multiple halls, rooms and buildings which are available for hire. The main buildings are at Bennochy and St. Bryce.
Note that the Abbotshall Church Halls can be hired by contacting m.baxendine@btinternet.com.
Bennochy Church & Halls
Church Building – The Church building and associated halls are available for events and social occasions. All halls are at the same level with no steps. A ramp at the side of the Church allows access to all halls and toilets. These are ideal rooms for hire in central Kirkcaldy.
An electric piano and organ are available along with a large screen for output from a laptop via our projector.

Methven Hall – The Methven Hall can hold approx 160 people (seated) and has recently been refurbished with new windows and lowered ceiling. The hall is now an ideal Kirkcaldy meeting room.
It can accommodate confercences, meetings, musical events, coffee mornings etc. Many of the Church organisations meet here.
The floor is of excellent quality and provides great flexibility for all types of events.

St. Andrew’s Hall – A long rectangular hall at the rear of the Church, recently refurbished with new curtains and used by the Sunday School.


Elgin Room – Between the Church and the Methven Hall, this small hall is ideal for meetings and has its own in independent heating.

The Meldrum Room – This small room is used as the Sunday morning crèche.

The Prayer Room – This circular room is available for contemplation and prayer. The Prayer Group hold monthly meeting with prayers selected by the congregation.

The Kitchen – The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is now at a professional catering standard. Full meals can be prepared on site as well as the regular tea, coffee and soup events.
To assist with post-event cleanup a new dishwasher is available.


St. Bryce Centre
The G.P. Room – This room can accomodate up to 30 people.

The Lecture Room – This room can accomodate up to 40 people.

The Coffee Bar – The coffee bar offers a large and varied lunch menu.

The Foyer – The facilities downstairs include a large Foyer which can be set as an exhibition area and 4 rooms of varying sizes to seat groups of 4-40.

The Quiet Room – This room can accomodate up to 16 people.

The Vestry – This room can accomodate up to 4 people.

The Large Hall – This hall has a seating capacity of 200 and is often used as our dining room. There is a stage which can be utilised for concerts or conferences.
At the rear of the building we have a small hall. This is a bright room seating a maximum of 60.

The Kitchen – Our dedicated catering manager runs our fully equipped kitchen. All our catering staff have their food hygiene certificates and our premises are inspected by environmental health inspectors.

Church Building – The church is a central part of our conference centre and is our main auditorium seating up to 400 people. As well as cushioned pews, it is furnished with comfortable chairs which can be set to suit your needs. The lift allows access for the disabled and there is a P.A. system with an Induction Loop for hearing aid users. The church has a sound system and powerpoint facilities.
