As you will know, the decision to hold Sunday morning worship in the Bennochy building was made by Kirk Session for a period of 12 months and it is due to be reviewed at the end of February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Basis of Union stipulates “The churches at present used and occupied by the congregations of Bennochy and St Bryce Kirk are to be retained, with the new Kirk Session deciding the way in which one or other or both of these Churches are to be used for worship and mission by the new congregation”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to the review, the Kirk Session would like to hear the thoughts of members of the congregation as to how the stipulation of the Basis of Union can be fulfilled going forward. The Minister and the Session Clerk will be available after Sunday worship on Sundays 15th<\/sup> and 22nd<\/sup> February<\/strong> from 12.15pm to 1pm in the Bennochy:St. Andrews Hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please come along to let us know your thoughts on how both buildings can be utilised for worship to best serve the mission of God in Kirkcaldy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Update (1st<\/sup> March 2026)<\/strong> – Taking account of the congregational consultation on 15th<\/sup> and 22nd<\/sup> January and the feedback from the congregational conference, the Kirk Session voted to continue to worship on Sundays at 11am in Bennochy building and to continue to hold additional worship in St Bryce Centre for seasonal and special services.
